AMAURY
DE LA GRANGE is approved as a Flying Training Organisation to provide training for
Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi Crew Coodination (MCC) and
Flight Instructor qualification.

Courses are modular or integrated,
from the minimum set by the JAR-FCL European regulations, to additional modules as
required by the customer : aerobatics, additional advanced flight training on aircraft or
simulator.
AMAURY DE LA GRANGE has a long experience in training ab initio pilots for airlines. This
has been the core of our business, mainly for Air France, whose graduates enter airlines
to qualify on aircraft such as Boeing B 737, Airbus A 320, ATR 42/72.
In partnership with TRTOs as AIR FRANCE in Vilgenis, or ICARE in Morlaix, AMAURY DE LA
GRANGE can provide courses including type-ratings on such aircraft.
The ground school is staffed by full time highly experienced instructors and some part
time specialists coming from industry.

The Flying
School (EPAG) has selected its training devices in order to
form an integrated and coherent chain of teaching. It uses
single engine aircraft, as Socata TB 9 Tampico for the initial
training, Mudry CAP 10 for advanced handling and aerobatics,
Socata TB 20 Trinidad for advanced CPL and initial IR training,
and twin engine Beechcraft Baron BE 58 for advanced IR
training ; we also use single and twin engine Frasca Flight
Navigation and Procedure Trainers, a King Air 200 Fixed Base
Simulator and 3 FNPT2 Simulators.

Flight Instructors are experienced pilots and instructors, coming mainly from the
military. Some have a significant experience in public transportation.

The flight environment AMAURY DE LA
GRANGE at and around Merville airport, is very attractive. Free airspace is available for
training, while many nearby airfields, in France, Belgium and England, from short grass
airstrips to international airports, offer wide training opportunities. A temperate
climate provides the whole range of weather conditions which are useful for a pilot
training.
